This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Lack of heat (to defrost windshield, restricting visiblity), low coolant light coming on, all the result of a faulty valve which also causes the car to register that it's overheating. Engine light coming on due to a faulty sensor. Emergency blinkers are broken. Grinding noise coming from front passenger wheel well.
Fraudulent repairs done by gmt automotive in schaumburg, il have made the vehicle inoperable and a safety hazard. Complaint has been filed with the better business bureau and the attorney general with no results. I cannot afford a lawyer because I spent $2,500 trying to fix a car that had nothing wrong with until gmt automotive performed a routine oil change. I have a file with all necessary paperwork to back up my statements. Is there anything you can do to help me? I've already lost my car due to gmt automotive's fraudulent behavior. I just want my money back so I can buy a new car.
