When starting vehicle engine raced all the way to 40, and there was no foot on accelerator. Consumer has been through two sets of brakes because both feet had to be applied to brake in order to stop vehicle. Consumer states idle is high for the first 5-7 miles, vehicle racees 40-45 mph on its own.
Consumer has to wiggle turn signal switch to get rear brake lights to work, also when cruise is on and consumer turns on left turn signal, cruise will cut off.

While driving at highway speeds, the vehicle will start to slow down while the gas pedal position is still the same, then speed back up, a few times the engine has died completely but has started right back up, a mechanic thinks it may be related to the gas tank and it's associated components, it could also possibly be related to the throttle linkages and control, consumer hears a cracking sound from the rear of the vehicle when the fuel tank is full.
My cruise control was set at 55mph and I was traveling at that speed.I came upon a vechile that was traveling slower.as I attempted to pass I put on my left turn signal. At that time the cruise control shut down and decreased my speed enough that I had to remain in that lane till all other cars passed
First start of the day, vehicle will idle high, and then vehicle will stall at least 3- 4 times before it will actually act normally. Dealr has replaced massive air flow sensor/ computer chip/ spark plugs, including wiring, and has erased memory. Defect keeps reoccurring.
Three problems so far with cruise control, one failure of either voltage regualtor or alternator leaving owner stranded, switch on drivers side window replaced for window operation, brakes squeak and sometimes work properly
Consumer experienced frequent/ intermittent problems with high acceleration. When consumer started up vehicle it would accelerate at a high rate of 31/2 RPM for approximately 10 seconds. Then the vehicle would stall out. Dealer repaired and inspected, and can not duplicate the problem.
After driving for a while or intermittently upon cold starts, vehicle will surge and hesitate when attempting to accelerate. Vehicle in dealership four times w/cause still unknown.
