Sliding door on passenger's side will not stay shut anymore. Chevrolet is aware of this. Customer set the door to manual lmode but still opens if not carefully closed. Alarm also does not sound anymore as warning.
Vehicle experienced a problem with both rear door assembly latches. Dealer was notified, and made repairs on both doors. Currently, problem has reoccurred, both front doors will not stay latched. Driver's door flew open while traveling. Vehicle taken to dealer, and informed consumer that nothing can be done because vehicle out of warranty. Feel free to provide any further details.
Passenger's door does not open from the outside due to poor design of the internal door latch which is too short. It will happen again even if replaced with a new rod/stick.

Front passenger door latch has broken twice in same day, garage was not able to make it function from outside the vehicle, only the inside. Today the driver's door latch also broke when opening in parking lot and now will only open from inside vehicle, leaving me access only through the side door. The electric wipers and windows have refused on several occasions to operate when raining, making it either impossible to travel in the rain or very dangerous when there was no choice but to continue on.
Whenever engine starts up the doors would lock. Doors fail to open when engine is shut off. Also, when the remote keyless entry is in use, the key fails to unlock the door.
Ongoing problem with outside door latches breaking on both front doors and rear doors. Dealer notified and repairs was made at consumer's expense. Consumer beleived this condition was due to a manufacturer's defect. First latch broke at 63,000 miles, and other two afterward. Dealer informed consumer that vehicle was out of warranty, and nothing could be done unless consumer pay for repairs. Seeking NHTSA for help in this matter.
At engine shut-off, doors donot unlock causing alarm to exiting passengers. From outside, doors donot unlock with keyless remote and causes door locks to be unusable with key.
Shoulder belts work intermittently, sometimes do not stay, housing sometimes comes off. Dealer not aware of the problem. No warranty. Also, ABS brakes do not stop properly when pedal applied. In addition, integrated child seats are not able to function safely. Consumer concerns are with children. While travelling in vehicle doors open/close randomly, posing a safety hazard. Problems still exists. Provide further information.
1. battery failed to turn engine over 3 differnt times in one day. Turn the key and it just clicks. Towed it to a dealer. The dealer says the battery failed load test. Relaced battery. 2. a rubbing noise is heard from the rear when turning. Dealer found rear stabilizer bushing on rr strut out of position. Rr stabilizer shaft to position properly. 3. power door locks do not unlock with the remote. Dealer replaced right and left actuator bumpers. Came out of actuators. 4. brake squeal noise up front. Dealer inspects front brakes and concludes approx. 3-5K left on front brakes. Mileage at this point is only 16345.
This car has been a source of continual problems since purchase. I have had door locks break, 2 power window motors go, transmission line leaks, and a rust problem on inside corners of the rear doors, that Chevrolet (the Corp). Refused to fix. It has been a "lemon" in my mind.
Vehicle hit head-on. Air bags did not deploy. Side window shattered. Vehicle towed. After repairs, vehicle pulls to right/transmission does not work properly/ door locks go up & down when driving and braking is very hard.
When brakes are applied hard, driver's door would slide forward off track. Fender would impede its progress. Passenger's door fails to open. Brakes: Brake pads worn down. Front end misalignment, causing vehicle vehicle to pull hard to right/tires to wear out. Will be taking vehicle to dealer.
Owner states that her rear door latches had to be replaced and that she still having problem with the door staying shut. Owner is concerned for her child safety because child rides in the rear.
