The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 75 mph, the vehicle's speed decreased as the traction control system warning light illuminated intermittently. The contact stated that the vehicle would not accelerate over 20 mph. The failure recurred two times. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump was damaged and needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
