Steering wheel started vibrating when applying brakes less than 20K miles. Took it to dealer where I bought the used car last year. Before I drove the car less than a year the problem started. I am wondering if the car was previously in a flood zone or driven into a lake??. Mechanic said it the rust & corrosion was caused by chemicals used in sanding the roads in winter season. REALLY NOW!! I Also had to replace strut brackets due to rust but there were under warranty. I do keep car in the garage most of the winter. I cannot believe there isn't some defect, maybe they were made in Japan like the airbags.
Thanks for hearing me out what recourse do I have with the dealership and/or manufacturer?
