We have had nothing but problems with this car, we have had it in the shop 5 times and still this light comes on. We had our car checks over prior to a vacation driving to Florida- when this message came on "Transmission hot, please idle" We called a local Chevy dealer in Florida 40 miles away. They replace part of the computer stating it is an electrical problem. We were so upset we left our vacation short. Every time I think about it this upsets me and wish I never owned this car..

On the way home in Georgia, it did this 3 times and we would stop and idle and it would reset. The last time, I was going through Atlanta when it came on and I couldn't get over to stop and it disengaged stated, "Transmission hot, Engine hot, and Suspension disconnect", something like that. I lost my power steering, my square that shows me if I was in drive or not and a big bang underneath. I thought I had lost my transmission or something broke. I call road side assistance after I got it stopped and the car was shut off. Upon 5 minutes of calling her I started again and everything had reset. This was at night and I drove it home.

I have been trying to get it into a dealer but no luck. The dealer I bought it is in Mitchell SD and I am unable to get it to the dealer. Every time the transmission fluid is full but when we purchased it we had a problem with the transmission upon 200 miles, we had it to the dealer in Mitchell SD for the first check up and had a slippage on the way to Sioux Falls and it was 2 quarts low from the factory. How upset when rely on the dealer to check. The transmission never goes into or 5 or 6th gear so our fuel mileage has been horrible, sometimes it goes in at 75 MPH but the dealer in Florida stated it should shift at 45mph. I cannot get this fixed and don't want or like this car anymore. Please refund our money so I don't have to look at this car anymore.
