I have a 2010 Impala LT, for the last several months, when making a left hand turn, there seems to be slippage in the left wheel area, almost like it's missing a few teeth. Once it gets past that area, it drives just fine. Lately it's also been happening when leaving a stop sign, but mostly when making left hand turns. I want to take it to a transmission shop, but I'm afraid of what the cost is going to be. With only 84,000 miles on this vehicle, and seeing all the other complaints, I'm wondering if I shouldn't just trade it in and let the dealership worry about this problem at a later date.
