I bought the car in 2/2010. The 2009 Impala had approximately 34,000 miles on it and the transmission went out. It was covered under the regular warranty. The Impala started having tranmission issues again at appproximately 92,000 miles. The check engine light came on again, and the car was shifting gears roughly. I took it to the dealership and the car was hooked up to a diagnostic machine and I was told nothing was wrong. A few weeks later, I took it back to be told there was nothing wrong. This happened several more times and finally my warranty ran out. It progressively got worse and we took it to a mechanic, not to the dealership. There was a torque converter issue in the transmission. We have taken it back three more times since 9/2013 (the mechanic gave us a warranty). He has used GM parts and every time it is the torque converter. It is messing up again. I do get several codes for the transmission when it starts messing up.

I am now having issues with the EVAP system (not the gas cap) and the air bag light, service tire monitoring system light and check engine light are on. Are there any recalls that would cover any of these issues?
