This loud clicking noise started shortly after my car reach 100,000 miles. It started as one occurrence but now it is increasing to the point of occurring during each time I use the vehicle. The loud clicking noise is very loud and can be heard from the outside of the vehicle as well. I was parked at church one Sunday and came to my vehicle after church service and heard the loud noise. It doesn't matter whether the vehicle is running, parked, in motion, or what dash items are on/off. Other people heard it and wondered as I did as to what it was. I couldn't give them a reason because I didn't know.
Someone had shared with me that my make and model of car had many problems but I didn't believe them. Now I am a believer. I can honestly say that If the opportunity presents itself for me to purchase another vehicle, I will think twice about what I purchase and where I get it. This noise is so distracting especially in the middle of busy traffic. I hope and pray that I don't get into an accident because of it. I have to also transport people with medical ailments that could worsen because of this unpredictable loud and annoying noise. It is also hard to report for dealers to attempt to fix since it occurs so randomly. This could be very expensive! I pray for help with this matter.
