The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Impala lt. The turn signal was silent when engaged. The contact's eyes must be taken off the road in order to view the dashboard. Therefore, the contact felt this was a safety issue. The dealer stated the vehicle was designed this way and the issue cannot be resolved. The current and failure mileage were 800. The consumer could not hear the sound coming from the turn signal switch. Updated 04/12/07.
