- the contact has a 2007 Chevrolet Impala with an odometer reading of 3800 miles and his break linkage failed. On 1-11-07 the contact was driving at 45 mph, under dry conditions, when another vehicle pulled out in front of him. When he applied the breaks they failed and would not stop the vehicle. The contact stated that the air bags did deploy, but he still was injured. The contact stated that after he hit the vehicle the car keep going and as he continued to apply the breaks the car would not stop until he used the emergency break. The police came to the seen and made a report and the contact told the tow truck driver what happened, he looked at the vehicle and told him that the break pedal linkage was disconnected.
