Kind of hard to drive a car that you can't get gas in the tank!!!! Apparently this is well-known problem with impalas...especially if car driven or used in a dusty area. Quoted $600-700 to repair..and in time the car may do it again. So a second $600-700 down the drain. I do not have $600-700 to spare. Most say they simply got rid of the Impala.
IF THIS IS SUCH A WELL-KNOWN IMPALA PROBLEM...WHY...HAS THERE NOT BEEN A RECALL!!!!!
In meantime, people watch laughingly, at the various angles I try to hold the gas nozzle, one after the other, in an attempt to put gas in my IMPALA. I usually give up at five gallons :-( ...
Go home and drive my trusty old FORD. #Nobody laughs at my FORD :-)
