The car heating gauge has been sticking ever since they recalled the ignition and only fixed the recall by widening the key. I am a science and physics study so I know these two are correlated. Just wanna know wtf they gonna do about this.

Started March 25,2015 Car left me stranded in neighboring town. Had to have it towed. Would not start, looked like a battery issue. We put in a new battery and all seemed well for a couple weeks. Then it started acting up again.

April 3, 2015 when we put on the signal light to turn right all the dash lights came on and it made a funny noise. The speedometer and gas gauge dropped to zero and came back on, but everything from ABS to seat belts to the trac off lights stayed on until we were able to stop and turn the car off. It started with no problem. Made it home fine until the next time.

April 25, 2015 Same issue, all lights come on when we put signal light on either left or right. Battery, ABS, seat belt, wrench, trac off, and gas & speedometer drop to zero, but do come back. Made it home

Back in 2010 I started having intermittent problems w/dashboard gauges, mph. First took to Chevy dealer to check and could find no problem. Happened again, took it back. Then all of a sudden it died. I was then told it would cost over $400. to fix. Since 2011 I have been driving with no speedometer. I have had other chevys, have always been a chevy girl, but now having second thoughts. I have never heard of this problem, and people were surprised that this happened. Then 1 1/2 years ago, my mom who lives with me and also has a 2005 Chevy Impala experienced the same exact problem. Lucky for her, she could afford to have a new harness installed. I can't. Now with all the other problems happening, rack & pinion, leak in oil pan, etc. these costs have escalated to almost $5,000. I am on SSD and on a very tight budget. In fact, the only reason I was able to buy this car new, thinking I wouldn't have major problems was my husband's life insurance policy. I am resigned to the fact that I will just have to drive the car until it finally dies and then that's it. If and I mean If I can ever afford to buy another car, used or new, I'm thinking Ford.

After seeing all the others with Chevrolet electrical problems, I don't feel as bad. Mine started as the air bag warning light coming on, going off, then flashing all the time. Then the low brake fluid light and the brake light came on. After checking the brake issue out and finding no problems, I started looking around on the internet to see if others had these sort of issues.

Low and behold, there are literally thousands of Chevrolet owners with electrical problems. I have been told a dozen different problems this could be. And have received estimates to fix it from a couple of dollars to a couple of thousand dollars. Personally I think Chevrolet should recall every one of these cars and repair them for free. This is Bullshit. I will never own another Chevy in my life. POS union junk!!

By the way, I fixed my warning light issues by putting a piece of tape over the lights so I don't have to look at them. Problem solved until I trade this crap in next month.
