Dealership #1 where I purchased the car misdiagnosed problem & provided unnecessary repairs 2 times. They replaced the Transmission Valve Body which they originally quoted at $1800, then at $1200 when I complained to them, then at $800 when I called GM service hotline and GM agreed to pay for the overpriced part. When they reinstalled the engine cradle after replacing transmission valve body, they forgot to torque bolts in my power steering rack!!!! Same dealership installed a Body Control Module but programmed it wrong so I could not reset Tire Pressure Monitor nor Oil Life Monitor thru radio. Needless to say I will NEVER return to Dave White Chevrolet in Sylvania, Ohio for repair nor purchase of ANY vehicle.
Dealership #2 technician correctly diagnosed the problem as clogged catalytic converter by listening to my description of what was happening, replaced catalytic coverter under 80k warranty, and everything worked GOOD.
