If the car is driven with any kind of enthusiasm the transmission hunts up & down or delays shift way too long. And this is the basis for the Impala police car?
My '02 Impala LS has never shifted really well, but for the last few months it has begun to hunt back & forth between gears while I am traffic so badly that I am afraid the thing is going to totally fail. It shifts & acts fine when I am in the open & can drive the way I want, even when under heavy acceleration. It is just when it's in traffic..
