I brought this car 3 years ago and since then I have taken it to the dealer 4 time for recalls. The engine light has been on for the past month and the service traction light also was on. My mechanic checked the car and told me that the engine is shot, that I will need a new engine soon. He has personally had to replace the engine to 2 other HHR car. He also has heard from other mechanic that are doing the same.
I looked up any recall on HHR on the Chevrolet web page and there is nothing on the engine. Has anybody have the same problem with their car? If you have please advice. I still have not done the repair to the car, I am just thinking of just getting another car. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
