2006 HHR key sticks in ignition. Button that ignites shifter broken and sticks in place causing the shifter to be easily engaged at any time. Car is at 70,822 miles. Car dealer states it is not covered by transferable manufacturers 5 yr/100,000 powertrain warranty. Car was purchased used 05/2007. Cost to cover replacement is over $300. If operators do not get this replaced I am sure it will cause property death, injury, and accidents as the shifter can be engaged by a slight bump to park, reverse, neutral, etc.
