I was the passenger in a 2014 Chevy express cargo van 1500. Lic plate #[xxx]. VIN #[xxx]. the tire blew out. We hit the center divider on the freeway. All the stuff from the back flew forward and hit me in the head. It almost broke my neck and back. I suffer from brain damage (tbi) now because of this. I Chevy came out. Wrote a report. Gave it to the owner of the van. I called the dealer, cuz I heard about the air bag recall. The dealer told me. The van has a salvage title on it. It was fix 10 days after the accident and to contact Chevy on it because there's no recalls on it. The dealer id called did not know about the accident. The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Express 1500. While driving at approximately 60 mph, the front driver side tire blew out and caused the contact to crash into a wall four times. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact and a passenger sustained unknown injuries that required medical attention. A police report was filed.
