The award-winning Goodwrench dealership finally told us to buy another van! We then took it to an independant auto electrical shop where it was worked on 4 time to the total frustration of everyone. The problem lies in the vehicle security system in which it decides the vehicle is being stolen and disables the fuel injectors. The key has been replaced, the 3(!) integrated circuits involved have been replaced, the computer has been reflashed several times (an intricate process taking about 4 hours) and the problem persists. The paranoia sets in when it is time to turn the vehicle off, because the problem only occurs during initial startup and seems to be fairly random, but more common after sitting overnight
