At first i thought tihs was an isolated problem so i had the tranny rebuilt and the tranny kept going, the guy rebuilt it under warranty 5 times, now i have a truck that's sitting there and i can't use, I read everywhere the 4l60e has many problems especially with the sunshell , I changed the VSS sensor, changed the TPS and nothing there are no codes in the computer i check all the wiring and nothing, all the grounds look like they are attached iam at a loss here, if anyone has any ideas please let me know. i love gm but this sounds like its a manufacturing fault so it think gm should pay for it, I hear there was a bulletin that they came out with but they won't help out customers, with a new tranny costing in the range of 2 grand to 4 grand not a lot of people will pay for this. GM should stand by their logo "Mark of Excellence".
