The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH and at other various speeds, the steering wheel jerked to the right with the electronic stability control warning light illuminated. The vehicle was steered to the side of the road and restarted. The electronic stability control warning light was no longer illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer however, the cause of the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 5,000.
