Have had this checked ever since the first checkup on the car. So far nothing noted as a problem by the dealer. However on the last checkup the service guys had the issue occur. Also on the Equinox they gave me as a loaner it did the same thing. The problem went away on my car from November to March and has just restarted on a couple warmer days.

Other than it being annoying, when trying to accelerate to join into 50 mph traffic, when it slips and the car does not move faster it can be dangerous.
