Our car has 47044 miles. We were informed today by the dealer that the tires need to be replaced again. We replaced the dealer tires at approximately 18,000 miles because of excessive wear. Now we are being told we need to replace our new tires that are supposed to last for 50,000 miles - that they need to be replaced because of excessive wear when they only have 29,000 on them.
The dealer is not being helpful. There has to be a problem with the car when it is going through tires that rapidly and we are doing mostly town driving or no more than 45 to 50 miles from home. WE have had the car for 33 months, so we are going thru tires every 16 months.
