- Summary
- 18158 - Service Update. Certain vehicles may exhibit a condition where the Service Side Detection (SSD) message is displayed on the Driver Information Center (DIC) screen. This message is displayed in the DIC and does not reset until the vehicle has gone through an ignition sleep cycle. When the SSD message is displayed, the Side Blind Zone Alert (SBZA) system is not functional. Dealers are to update the side blind zone alert module with a new calibration file.
