Had the car for 4 full months, until 2/2020. Part wasn't available for that amount of time. Had to beg for a loaner after using rideshare for a week. Also unfortunately, when my son was home from college, he couldn't drive the loaner, so he was out transportation during holidays. Currently, I'm being told I was 'lucky' to get a loaner at that time (b/c they said now ALL Loaners are discontinued)
I notified 'Chevrolet Customer Care' after 1 month of nothing happening and sent a Certified letter. They then started harassing me at work. I never gave them my work number. I'm a nurse and don't take personal calls except for emergencies. They continued to call and tell me 'they had nothing to tell me'. I only called them in the 1st place to see if they could expedite the part. Never, at any time did they indicate they made any contact with 'Parts' or ANYONE, outside of my local Service Department at BOMNIN DADELAND CHEVROLET. They continued to call and be put through to my work phone, identifying themselves as GM. Clearly, they wanted everyone I work with to believe my car was going to be repossessed and they did until I explained the situation.
Enough...
I'm leading up to my current situation.
