My 2017 Chevy Equinox 2.4L with just over 73,000 miles needs a new engine. There was no warning, no dashboard lights on, and I just passed vehicle inspection check 14 days prior. My vehicle was not consuming oil. It was only 1/2 quart low per the dealer at the time the timing chain jumped.
