Slid into a curb at low speed on an icy road. Vehicle bounced off the curb. Started pulling to left and steered a slight amount to correct it. Took it to tire dealer to check alignment. All four tires needed alignment. Really!! I took it to another alignment place. That one says all four needs work. Chevrolet does not put cam bolts on any of the parts to align the wheels anymore. One told us the lower arm was bent. And he would fix it $550. For a $99 alignment.
I changed the lower arm. It still did not correct it. We watched the wheel and figured the wheel was bent. Replaced the rim with new one. Went to tire place again for alignment, but now the cam bolts will not allow them to do an alignment. I could purchase two bolts at $20 each bolt so he could do an alignment. He would charge $20 to change these 2 bolts. Also it would cost more for front alignment because there is not an alignment part on this vehicle so he would have to take apart front and drill holes in each to do front alignment. Suggestion on putting the right bolts and the right part to make the adjustment at the factory plant when it's being built.
