I have had this off and on problem since I bought this vehicle brand new. I have had the dealer look into at least twice. Once time they said it was because the battery was bad (hence my first complaint).
The most recent incident occurred when the back up screen went completely yellow with a dark blue vertical line moving across the screen.
Previous incidents:
When opening and closing the hatch, I have no camera picture when I back-up. Sometime if I get out and open and shut the hatch again, it will sometimes fix the issue. It appears to be a short in the electrical.
I have also turned the engine off, restarted the car and that sometimes may work.
Got in vehicle this morning and put it in reverse and my wife noticed that the backup camera wasn't on and had a warning come up. I'm old school so I don't need it but paid for it so should work.
