The contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. While driving in rainy weather, the windshield wipers failed. The vehicle was towed to the contact's home. The following day, the vehicle was driven to wilsonville Chevrolet (26051 South West boones ferry road, wilsonville, or 97070, (866) 279-5360) where it was diagnosed that the windshield wiper transmission failed. The windshield wiper transmission was replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 66,265. Consumer stated recalled in Canada but not the us.
