So just bought this '12 Equinox and with in a week light comes on with code p0297. Also noticed rough idle in reverse and rough cold start a little noise as well. Have a warranty so took in. By then the light shut off but stayed stored. My code and a few others apparently. So they looked at few other things I addressed and told warranty Dept. Mac cleared codes and said wait for them to pop up again and warranty peeps said uh uh get a second opinion.
Needless to say I drove until finally that same code popped up but it shut itself off again. Still taking it in but I've been reading. Same symptoms almost as a lot of you. But mine hasn't stalled yet. And I checked oil when I bought, good. Reading y'all's post it made me check again not even two months later and I'M BONE DRY!
HOW IS THERE NO RECALL? I do have warranty for five years but I'm scared of this car now! So what should I get them to replace asap? Because I think I'm right behind y'all. Uuughh!! What to do!?
