I don't understand why GM has not issued a recall on this! You spend upwards of $26,000 for this thing and right after 40,000 miles it starts screwing up. There are thousands of these infotainment systems across the GM brands that are doing this. Dealer wants to charge hundreds of dollars for test and then up to $1,000 to fix.
When it goes out you can't hear warning chimes either which is in violation of NHTSA safety standards. I should not have to pay for a infotainment system I already paid for once! Especially if it's of no fault of mine but a malfunction from GM. It's at the point now that it does not even power on anymore.
