Hello, I purchased a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox at the end of September 2019 with 127,900 km.
All seemed ok, until December 18, 2019 - I started the vehicle and put the wipers on to clear a very light snow fall and the driver side wiper stopped working. I took the vehicle on that same day to a local Mechanic "Tottenham Garage LTD" 50 Queen Street S. Box 879.
They accessed the problem to be the Wiper Transition, ordered the part and gave me a drive home as they were closing at the end of their day and they needed a part.
All was fixed, and I have not had a problem since, however having said that, I now realize this is a weakness in the manufacturing of the vehicle, as there was a recall on it.
I would like a refund on the repair. That would be helpful. I will call Chevrolet to speak with the correct contact.
Thank you
