Feeling very upset! Just got a call from Chevy Service Center and was told that I needed to replace my transmission. WTF- my car was 2011- regularly service and maintained and had about 88,000 miles. They said it was an estimated price of $4700.00. What? for a 2011 transmission? If I was to fix it, I would be investing more than it's worth. I checked NADA- not worth it.
One thing I don't understand is why the heck did they put the dipstick, to check transmission oil, under the car, under a bracket that you have to unscrew to get to, instead of putting it under the hood like everyone else... oh, because you want mechanics to keep overpricing us, on something that the consumer can probably do with the help of YouTube of course.
I'm just so tired of investing on something that is so expensive, and always getting screwed. My car should out last my cell phone.
