Sounds and feels like the chassis is creaking under the driver's floorboards during accelerations. Felt mostly when stopped at a traffic light uphill, but I can hear it during ALL initial accelerations. I can also feel it during stopping but it is much harder to hear due to road noise etc..
I brought it to the dealer twice. First time they said they couldn't hear it. Second time I insisted on a demonstration in which both the service rep and the technician heard it. The fix was to "tighten" the carriage bolts. When I picked up the vehicle form the dealer the sound was gone. I drove it for about three days and the noise came right back. As a single dad of two younger kids, I have not had the opportunity to return to the dealer, just to have them tell me there is nothing they can do.
I chalk it up to the "Chevy quality". Yay. My next vehicle will not be a domestically made one.
