My car is draining the battery when it is turned off. It has been at the dealership for going on 5 weeks now with the problem still existing. The battery will stay charged for around 24 hours, however, by day 2 it is drained and the car won't start.

At first they told me it was a bad battery so they put in a new battery, went to start the car after paying for the battery - dead won't start nor release the key. So that was the first attempt of fixing the problem. About 2 weeks later I get a phone call telling me they think they need to reprogram the car since not one thing is draining the battery, it's a lot of little things. I asked if this will be a fix and not a bandage until it happened again. They told me it would take about 24 hours to reprogram the car. I never heard back until day 3 after I agreed to this reprogramming. When I called it didn't work according to the service tech - same issue is still happening. So now they told me they have a GM engineer on the case to try to fix the problem.

4/25/15 will be week 5 of not having my car, yes, I am in a loaner however, I can't transport my dogs to dog shows or training class in the loaner. As well, I am paying on a loan for a car I do not have at the moment.

This is the third time the car has acted up. Was traveling to vendor and cruise quit. Then battery light came on and off ran very erratic. I called my dealer at home and he told me to pull in shortly down the road to this dealer. They could not look at it for two days. So I left and when I did all was fine on restart.

Took back to dealer at home. They changed battery cables. Got back three days ago and yesterday wife took it 4 miles to her sisters and it died and would not start, had towed again. Told dealer I don't want it anymore. They do not know what to do. Got another loaner. It's not a dealer problem, it's a GM problem.

Update from May 17, 2015: Its fixed after another two weeks at dealer they found that the grounding strap to engine threaded hole had stripped threads and therefore was not tight. No more issues in 30 days.

I don't think a 2011 vehicle should have a lot of trouble with the type of mileage I have on it. I had AAA to come and tow my car to the dealership and they could hardly jump start it, it took two trips and not the same persons and each one said my battery was hot.

I bought this car in 2011. I've been going back and forth with different problems. So far I have pain $1500 in fees.. This week I went to a doctor's appointment, the car was fine. After the appointment I came out, unlocked the car, turned it on, it turned forward but it won't start. I thought it's the battery but when the triple A guy fixed it still it won't start. I ended up towed the car to the dealership, they charge me $125.00 for diagnostic...

Yesterday they called me telling me someone was trying to tamper my car, cut the wires, that's why it won't start... So I need to pay $600.00 to repair the module so they can finish diagnosing the car.. I am so mad cause they are the only ones who touch and fix my car but they told me someone was trying to break into my car. The other day I took the car in for the light, it kept coming up, they told me they need to wire the whole car.. How can I prove it was them who did this and now they're blaming on someone else but it was them who fixed this car since I bought it..

Is there like a report I ask for them to print before and after they fixed my car??? Can I asked them for that?? DO NOT BUY THIS CAR ALL KINDS OF CRAP!! I SHOULD BOUGHT A HONDA INSTEAD OF THIS STUPID CAR.
