This is my second complaint about my vehicle which I had purchased back in August 2015 - I didn't expect to have issues so soon. So here it goes.. My service air bag light is coming on randomly.. it goes on and off sporadically, but when it does I get an alert sound in my car that shows me something is wrong with my car. It also shows that my air bag is off. This is alarming for safety reasons of course. I went once again to the dealer who sold me my vehicle but they could not be of service, they said I would need go to the manufacturer to see if there is possibly a recall (appalled that they could not check that for me) I decided to call. The Manufacturer service rep told me that I would have to make an appointment (Let me mention that I could not get through to them for at least 30 minutes) I asked if they can check if there is a recall for this issue and she checked but said that there is not.. I asked what could I do as this is a safety concern should I get in an accident I'm not sure if the airbags would deploy, I also mentioned that I travel with little ones so this is a major concern. She said that I can go back to the dealer who sold me my vehicle and they should be able to service it for me. I did as I was advised only to be told I can indeed bring it in for a fee (now remember I said I purchased my vehicle in August and this started occurring in Sept. not even a full month of having the vehicle) the Service rep also mentioned that this may take a few days to look into to see if there is even an issue.. I am a single mother with a job, I could not afford to just leave my vehicle there for a few days.. all and all I am still having this issue with no resolution. I do not understand how this is not a recall from GM motors.. I probably would never purchase another Chevy thanks to my experience.
