Car door should be able to lock at all times. As a woman driver, leaving a car unlocked does not make me feel safe, so having locking mechanisms that work is important. For the price we pay to purchase a vehicle, I would like all the components to be working and to keep me and my family safe.

Seems like the issue is with the wiring, since the power window on the drivers side also doesn't work even with a new motor.
