GM is recalling certain vehicles with a power steering problem. It bothers me that certain vehicles are being recalled and others are not with the same problem. It is very inconvenient to have to come out of pocket to pay for a replacement part when GM should have taken care of my issue for free. My vehicle was kept in the shop at the dealership for 48 hours, but the labor only required two hours.
If you own this vehicle, beware that this problem does exist.
