Brakes had began squeaking about 500 miles before my oil change was due. When I brought it in for the oil change, I let the GM Service rep know that they had been squeaking and that I thought that it was odd for the brakes to already be making noises after only 25,000 miles. He had the service tech look into it and said that the brakes still looked good and that they greased a "pin" in the brake system which may have been the issue.
This worked for a few miles but the squeak has returned. Its a shame since this is really a pretty nice car, but its kind of embarrassing to be squeaking like there is a maintenance issue. There does not seem to be a brake performance issue, just the squeak.
