Vehicles comes with a engine stop on/off that can't be turned off. What this does is that it 'turns off' the engine when idling to save gas. What happens is that this engages even before brake pressure hits 100%. so when in an uphill or downhill and coming to a stop the car tends to shut down when it reaches low speeds. However, when this happens the car starts rolling and you can't steer correctly because power steering is turned off. This creates a safety hazard because it engages before pressure is 100% causing the car to shut down early and you start rolling unexpectedly without any power steering. Vehicle was approaching a red light in a slight uphill. Car rolled from :34-:50 seconds backward. I re gained control of NY car once I let go completely off my brake(this causes the auto stop on/off to disengage)

Vehicle has had a misfire that only threw a single generic misfire code for cylinder 3. jerks occasionally when slowing down at stop lights or signs. Recently went to turn around after missing a turn, shifted it into reverse after stopping in a random driveway off a city road, slowly began to back up and it moved about an inch before the steering wheel completely locked up, A/C shut off, car acted like it was in neutral and would only roll forward, would not accelerate with gas. Engine was still running, no lights came on, but problem remained until I put it in park and shut the vehicle off. Turned it back on and it started normal and haven't had a problem since but it's only been 2 days. Took it in to dealership and found 0 codes and are unsure as to what could possibly create the issue due to no codes and it only happening intermittently.

The steering column adjustment lock does not lock properly. When I set the wheel where I want it drops to the next setting and while driving it drops on its own. This makes me swerve, sometimes at hwy. Speeds.

I have been experiencing loss of power steering upon vehicle startup, which has at times persisted into the beginning of my drive. A stabilitrak warning is displayed on the driver information center indicating an issue with the electric power steering. There is a definite physical loss of power steering that recovers within a minute. This message and loss of power steering seems to occur during cold and wet/rainy conditions where temperatures are estimated below 40 F. the whole electric power steering rack assembly was replaced under waranty in Q1 2018, but did not fix the root cause. At that time, the dealer was able to locate diagnostic codes, but in two subsequent visits for the same issue, the dealer has been able to solve this issue. It is ponderous that the dealer has insisted that a stabilitrak message warning of loss of power steering does not register in any of the computer systems. How can this be true?

The steering started moving up and in a locked position now the steering wheel and column will come only to your knees. I almost crashed the car when putting on the brakes because the steering wheel goes to the left. Not syre if the air bag will go off as needed.steering wheel when putting on the brake sends car moving to the left. The steering wheel is able to control it can be moved by just a little movement of your hand.
