I have been up there date for fixing this vehicle for the last 4 years when i bought it with 60k miles, I have replaced multiple parts so far from foil pump, wheel, coolant pipes and the container many times from constant leaking in the fuel pump, I have replaced the alternater twice by 70k miles, ABS system failed many times and no one can fix it, Lastly, my daughter was driving to school and while she was driving on the roundabout in the outer lane. She tried to turn the steering wheel t take the exit and everything got locked on her immediately from steering wheel and the break paddle caused he car shift to the curb and hit the side walk because it went out if control because the tire split out the wheel along with another piece from wheel behind the tire, almost killed my daughter on the seen. I had spent in this At least $10k and now it barely passed &100k Just unbelievable. This car is piece of trash no safety in this car now I parked the car and I-??m trying to think what to do with it. I will take it back to the GM and the Chevy dealers and I-??m complain because even the dealers for the GM and Chevy are the worst people to deal with and the worst customer service. They-??re not helpful at all. I have went to local shops. They do better job but the thing is this car is piece of crap Replacing and go back. I am not spending any more penny on this car now I have to get a brand new car for my daughter to go to college she needs it better or don-??t sell more cars. This has to be a trust immediately as my daughter career relying on transportation, And I am not claiming my insurance to fix the damage on my vehicle because my insurance will raise my premiums and there was no other car involved because she was on the roundabout on the side lane and she had to hit the curb because the car kept going and has no control but luckily she wasn-??t going on the inside lane on the roundabout otherwise she-??ll be hitting another vehicles from losing control
ABS and traction control light came on after being parked, no codes show up when diagnosed, heard there was recall for that but it doesn't show for my car
I was crossing a highway when my 2015 Chevy Cruze started to shake violently and experienced a loss in power, the engine warning light was then displayed across my dash, I managed to limp it home and then took it to the mechanics the next day. The mechanics checked the codes and found that, a engine misfire was detected, the fuel injector control mod was not available, or there was a communication problem, the electronic brake control lost communication with the engine control module, the digital radio receiver controller was not available, or was experiencing a communication problem, and the instrument control panel was displaying failures in ambient air temperature sensor circuit, and lost communication with the HVAC control module. It turns out that due to a manufacturer error (Chevy/ General Motors) that the cars ignition coil towers had burned off on cylinders 2 & 4 and had taken out the spark plugs as well. So due to this manufacturer error, not only was everyone in my vehicle placed at danger, but I also had to get everything replaced for a total of $432.80 a couple of days after finding out I had been layed off of work.
Brake pedal becomes hard after starting the engine on occasion. Feels like the brake has a loss of the power assist. After starting the car, put it in drive, release the brake, vehicle begins to move, apply brake, brake pedal become very hard with excessive force needed to stop the vehicle.

Brakes work one time fine then the next it will almost put you threw the window.no loss of petal but same amount of pressure applied to pedal everytime and resulting in a normal stop to a sharp stop.new rotor and pad 6 months ago. Took it to the shop wear the brake pads and the rotor were replaced and they said everything as far as the pads and rotors are good its something else.(brake boaster, brake asst, switch) talk dealer and they said it no a cover part if it a powertrain brake booster or brake asst switch. Every every dangerous I will not let my family drive this car until problem is solved.
While driving all of sudden traffic began to slow eventually all vehicles stop this car did not stop until it had to be also most floored; then as we start to proceed the vehicle did not want to move it was in drive all the way; it just started to vibrate an not actually moving with acceleration; then with increase acceleration it got out of the vibration and began to move forward; then we smelt something as burning; all this happen while we were driving on a busy three lane one direction traffic street; we call it stop and go; there are traffic lights, and you must go when its time to go on "green". if not this can cause and accident.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. While driving 70 mph, the brakes malfunctioned. The contact stated that the emergency brake indicator illuminated without warning. In addition, the contact stated that the front passenger wheel seized. The dealer diagnosed that the vehicle engaged in ABS diagnostic mode, which caused a transmission failure. The master cylinder was replaced in the vehicle, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 9,000.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. While driving approximately 20 mph, the brakes malfunctioned and the contact crashed into the rear of a second vehicle. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the brake lines from the master cylinder failed and caused brake fluid to leak out. The cause of the failure was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. A police report was not filed and there were no injuries. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 45,000.
Power assist failed, making steering difficult, happened during lane change on freeway at 70 mph, this happened in conjunction with random screen loss on infotainment screen. Also random error messages. Upon taking car to dealer, they agreed it was probably an issue addressed under special coverage 14311, but it turned out that it was not. My 24 yr old daughter was driving, I am thankful she survived, no one should experience loss of power steering, especially on the freeway. Oddly I ended up paying out of my pocket for a new battery and a pos and a neg cable. It would appear that GM should alert more owners of this issue than they have so far, to prevent further deaths.
The brake pedal depresses beyond the gas pedal, sometimes causing my wife or myself to hit the gas while braking. The dealer says this is normal and we should learn to live with it. I wanted the brake pedal pulled up, but was told you can't do that on a Chevy Cruze. If this is true, I believe this is an accident waiting to happen, if it hasn't already.
Driving from ski area in line of cars at 15mph when cars ahead started to stop. Had "snowflake" button pushed. Brakes appeared not to engage, progressively pushed on brake harder but no effect, fortunately by the time of impact car had slowed to 5mph and airbags did not deploy. Damage to front grille. Turning off "snowflake" (ABS) returned braking to normal.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that while driving at an unknown speed, the brakes were engaged and failed to stop the vehicle. The contact had to stand on the brake pedal in order to stop the vehicle. The contact was able to turn off and restart the vehicle successfully. The failure recurred on 3 separate occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 200.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. While driving approximately 3 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The failure recurred on two other occasions. Also, on another occasion, the brake pedal failed to stop the vehicle. The contact placed the vehicle into reverse and the brake pedal responded. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the failure was unable to be duplicated. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 190.
Around November 29, 2014 I was driving the 2015 Chevy cruz while out of town driving on the highway going around 55 miles I was pulled over by a police reporting that I was driving 75 miles, but when I slightly hit my brakes to slow down the car didn't change its speed. Based on the police's report of the speed he reported me going the odometer reading is wrong or set too high in this vehicle and will cause accidents if not fixed. It appears that the digital odometer is wrong in this model and needs to be fixed to include the breaks stalling, and odometer reading reporting the wrong speed, please send me report via email.
