radio blackouts out; shuts off then restarts itself

Multiple times while driving this car I have experienced my entire radio system shutting down and restarting itself, nothing I can do to stop it. Concerned that other electrical issues are present and I may loose power to the entire car causing a serious accident. Very concerned, but when looked at by technician they are not able to duplicate the problem, so it goes un fixed. What is going on with this car?
