Cruze 1.6 Lit

Every spring and fall, my driver seat window rolls down by itself, as soon as I start and it keeps rolling down every time I close it again. It is so annoying, especially when it is raining. Maybe it has to do with moist weather?

The dealer said the insurance would cover it, but the insurance company said no. Guess I have to wait until the car catches fire, due to the motor in the power window burn and then I can get myself another car. Since the dealer suggested the insurance, it is most likely an expensive thing to fix. Agree with previous complaints, should not happen on a car that is this new.

Cruze ECO 1.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 36,400 miles

Rolled window down on a hot day after getting into my hot car. When I attempted to roll it back up, it did not roll up and sounded like grinding glass. Took it into my nearest Chevrolet dealer and was told that the window regulator broke. Seems like this shouldn't happen on a 3 year old car.

Cruze ECO 1.4L

  • Automatic transmission

This is now the second "faulty" (as my Chevrolet servicer stated) window regulator on my Cruze in 3 months. First one, driver side, was covered under my standard warantee. This second one, passenger side, is not. My

Passenger door and window is hardly EVER used. Rolled the window down and heard a loud noise, obviously not normal. Attempted to roll it up and it was stuck down. Took it in to Chevy service and they were able to secure the window up until the parts come in in 6 days. I'm just a couple of thousand miles over so I will be having to pay my $200 deductible. This is really frustrating because I will be having to pay for something which is obviously faulty on this vehicle. I'm prepared for the back 2 regulators to break any time now. Really unfortunate on a 3 year old Chevy vehicle. Considered buying another Chevy but now I'm certainly considering otherwise.
