When driving in freezing temperatures my windows begin to fog and frost on the inside of all 4 windows, the rear window, and the corners of the windshield. After driving about 10 - 15 minutes with the defrosters blowing warm air, the car is unable to clear the frost. And by then, the frost has built up enough to the point to where I cannot see out of either drivers or passenger side window. This car was brought to lupient Chevrolet in bloomington, mn (where it was purchased 6 months ago). It was looked at for a week in which the service manger informed me that there is no fix for this problem due to the engine being too small to keep up with cold winter conditions.

This exact same thing has happened 2 times. While driving normally 'service esp' and 'service traction control' warnings come on along with the engine light and the 'stabilitrak' light. The engine remains running but does not supply power to the wheels resulting in a total loss of power to the car. The first time it happened, I took it to a certified Chevy dealer who told me it was a battery issue and replaced the battery. Didn't work. Happened again within a week. This situation is very unsafe as the vehicle could be stuck powerless in the middle of a turn or a number of other dangerous situation. The car is not on GM's recall list for any of the ongoing recall issues.

While driving 45miles an hour the A/C shut off and the speed was replaced by an error that showed that the A/C was shutting down due to engine levels. However the level was not high. The check engine light came on. I took the car into the dealership however they are unable to pin point the problem or determine the code for the light. The vehicle will not pass inspection and therefore I am unable to drive the vehicle.

I am very angry that Chevrolet has been allowed to greenlight hacksawing the Chevy Cruze's engine guard as an acceptable fix to their safety recall. My husband and I are very uncomfortable with allowing our dealership to sawzall the engine guard apart. We are more concerned about the safety of our vehicle after this procedure is done than not having it done at all. Chevy forums are lodging complaints of increased noise, trouble with control as wind goes into the open engine compartment, and the engine compartment being left open to the elements. Chevy should have to provide an acceptable re-design of the engine guard, and fix their mistake. Why hasn't the NHTSA pressured them to take this seriously and come up with a solution that does not hurt Chevy Cruze owners?

The driver's side floor mats on our 2011 Chevy Cruze are supposed to attach to two rubber pins on the floor carpet. However, the attaching mechanism does not work and the floor mats are easily pushed forward and begin bunching up underneath the gas and break pedals. This is a dangerous situation. I am looking at temporarily replacing the mats with a heavier rubbermaid mat. Chevy needs to fix this problem immediately.
