Dealership tell me tire hop or tire chatter on the Stingray Corvette may be caused by (imperfect) Ackermann Steering Geometry and sticky tires. As of March 2, 2017, bulletin # 14-03-10-001D "Tire Hop/Tire chatter during tight turns at parking lot speed. The bulletin states that the tire hop is due to (Imperfect) Achermann Steering Geometry and sticky tires. Apparently the steering angle of the Stingray tires at large steering angles, do not follow the same arc."
This is a engineering problem and a class action suite should be started...
Cicking noise from both front wheels location. This occurs at low speeds (5-20 mph) during full wheel lock turns. The clicking noise is 1 to 3 clicks per wheel revolution.
