It pisses me off that GM would skimp and use these cheaper cast wheels rather than provide forged wheels for a car of this caliber, power and torque. I bought the car used and have only put 2,000 miles before the first wheel has cracked in 3 places!! Not sure what it will cost but luckily I bought a tire and wheel package when I got the car. GM doesn't want to fix the issue because I guess the Corporate Executives need a jet to take them back to Washington to beg for more taxpayer money to bail out their sorry asses!!

They keep this up and they will be swimming in Corvettes up to their asses when no one buys them at the inflated prices the Dealers want these days. All of the current CE's are a bunch of lying, cheating, greedy SOB's that should be ashamed of themselves, as the Corvette is quickly losing it's appeal as America's favorite Sports Car. I'll never buy another GM products as long as I live!! And you can be sure I'm telling everyone I know about these greasy, slimy bastards!!

2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport with less than 10,000 miles that has been pampered, never raced or tracked. Car has vibration due to both driver side wheels being bent. Hit a pothole on interstate while driving car normally which led to bent wheels and vibration in car. From researching the issue, found that many other Corvette Grand Sport and Z06 owners have experienced bent wheel issues. Wheels are cast instead of forged and simply not strong enough for a high performance car like this. GM needs to recall these inferior wheels.

Definitely an awakening. I started experiencing a leak with one of my rear tires. I took it in to get the leak fixed. I was told the problem was fixed. It was leaking again the next day. I took it back in and again I was told it was fixed. It leaked again and this time I was advised the rim had two cracks with an estimate of 1,305.00 for the repair and that it would not be covered under warranty. I contacted Chevrolet and the next thing is I got a call from the dealership and they were willing to work with me at a reduced cost of 620.00 for a new rim.

I love the car and enjoy driving it so I gave in and last week the car was repaired. The new rim fixed the problem. I do have concerns about it happening again or to one of the other rims. I don't think I should have had to pay for any of the repairs. I guess I was a bit lucky because apparently some have had issues with just 500 miles. Chevrolet should step up to the plate and pay for replacement of all four rims. I find it hard to believe they won't cover the defective rims under the warranty. Disappointed.

Just want everyone to know that my rim is cracked and it blew my tire out causing me to have to replace the tire thus far, to only find out that my rim has to be replaced as it is not able to be welded to prevent air loss. It was determined that the crack, even though it appears to be a hairline crack, is too deep to weld and replacement is needed. Kind of odd considering normal driving once in a awhile and others have had this same issue with their rims. I will consult with GM to see is this is something they will address with me.

I began losing tire pressure in my passenger rear tire. I took it back to my local Chevrolet dealer (Tom Gill) for a tire inspection. I was informed that I do not need a new tire, but there was a hairline crack on the inside rim.

I asked for a replacement and have not been contacted. I had to recontact Tom Gill Chevrolet and was told that the rim was ordered but no date was given on the replacement. I was informed just to keep adding air if I want to drive the Corvette. Who in their right mind wants to drive an automobile on a cracked rim??? Chevy needs to correct this problem!
