The car was purchased 12/5/17, brand new from Estero Chevrolet in Estero Florida, I drove the car to Minnesota where I live in the summer, in mid May. It had 3780 miles on it at the time it was towed into the Chevrolet dealership in Fergus Falls, MN. The dealership evaluated the problem and after their consultation with Chevrolet determined that the turbo charger (Z06) needed to be replaced. The dealership then informed me that per their supplier (GM) -- NO turbo chargers were available. I contacted Chevrolet Customer Service, spoke with four (4) of their reps -- who knew absolutely nothing and never returned phone calls -- I then contacted three different Chevrolet dealers, who verified that no Turbo's were available for the Z06. The car has now been sitting at the dealership for almost 30 days, with no solution or response. I then contacted the Attorney General of Florida regarding my rights under their Lemon Law. They sent me a packet of info and forms to file a complaint. I then wrote a letter to Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center explaining the problem and suggesting that this be resolved between myself and GM without going through the time and effort of filing a claim through the Florida Lemon Law. Apparently they received my letter and called me. I asked them to send me an email, so I had a document IN WRITING of their intended course of action. I was told they could not send me an email. I am assuming they don't want to put anything in writing - because they don't want that evidence in my possession. I was told that they would call me on 6/19/2017 and discuss the situation. The resolution to the problem is for GM to comply with the provisions of the Florida Lemon law and either replace the vehicle or pay me for the vehicle which I purchased as provided under the Florida Lemon Law. I have been without the vehicle for close to a month, in the summertime in Minnesota, the only time I would drive this car, because of weather in this state. I paid close to $100,000.00 for this car and have not had the use of this vehicle. GM has dragged this out and to date has not come up with a solution !!!
