The entire dash went dark, there was no display of the odometer, symbols for system IE lights, oil pressure, tachometer, and no display on the screen where the radio or navigation selections are made. This began upon car being started. Turning off engine and restarting did not resolve. Car was drivable but not safely as speed could not be monitored.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette. While driving 40 mph, the instrument panel dimmed. The contact could not see any of the indicators, including the speedometer. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the instrument panel screen needed to be replaced. The repairs were performed, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,500. Updated 01/07/16
