- Summary
- This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have an inoperative RKE operation and the horn/wipers will be stuck in the "on" position. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code B101D sys F0 set in the Body Control Module. Technician should clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code. If the B101D SYM F0 resets ensure the Body Control Module is awake open the driver?s door then disconnect the battery, wait 5 seconds, then reconnect battery. If the BCM outputs remain active and the Remote Keyless Entry is non-functional, then the Body Control Module should be replaced.
