This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that the steering pulls to the right while trying to maintain a straight line heading at highway speeds. Technician will need to verify the customers concern. After the concern is verified swap the front tires. If the pull direction is opposite, then follow the Radial Tire Lead/Pull correction procedure noted in Service Information to isolate the tire causing the concern. Otherwise, continue to next step if pull / drift in the same direction is still present. Technician should use the alignment rack to record the measurements then modify wheel alignment to counteract the pull or drift condition.
